Clan History

Hello and welcome to the MFP Battlefield 2 Gaming Clan

Firstly, MFP stands for 'Main Force Patrol' from the Australian movie classic, 'Mad Max'. Our original founders consist of Darthrev, Aus_Perentie and Loony, who consequently are also our Clan 'Captains'. Currently Darthrev, O-Loony-O and Spriggy72 are the forum admins. They will assisit with any enquiries you may have.

Our members pride themselves as mature people who are always good for a wild laugh, with absolute no time for cheaters and deliberate anti-social behaviour. The clan was grown from a few guys getting together for fun, having now expanded to others in similar circumstances. We pride ourselves with fair play and squad based ethics. If you think you fit the bill, feel free to register on our site and join us online.
Please do not be afraid to ask for assistance….we were all there once!

We would like to point out that whilst we love to take the clan to a serious and competitive level, our current work and lifestyle situations holds us up to where we are. In general… if you wish to join for weekend ladder scrims and mandatory training, it might be best if you look elsewhere.

Here we like to enjoy ourselves playing BF2 rounds online, influenced sometimes by assorted liquids in a casual environment. We LAN when we can, but due to the majority of members being shift-workers with odd-hours, getting a lot of people online at the same time is hard enough let alone offline, hence the casual direction.

All the best to your families and on the Battlefield. Looking foward to some increased play-time online for myself in '09. Interesting to see what this new map is going to be like in the upcoming 1.5 patch.

Will start checking rosters and organising a BIG Full Day/Night Palooza for our first '09 event at the Shack... giving plenty of notice... unless a freak day comes up. Infact ... I'll get the Palooza thread going early for as much input as possible. Let's make it a BEAUTY!!!!
