The server is running well in its first couple days. The only adjustment I have made so far is to add a custom "Wez" load up/ splash pic otherwise it is vanilla Wasteland Stratis v0.9h (the latest version available).

Had as many as 13 players on at once so far?. I don't think we are competing too much against other Vanilla type - Stratis Wasteland servers out there which might help and I also think the 32 player max is a good size while we run a Stratis map. Hopefully we will continue to build up a regular player base. Please support the server in your attendance when you can.

Stats are now being tracked by gametracker as per our main page server banner, or you can keep an eye on player stats here: http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/103.231.88.100:2642/ the 'score' list is the amounts of npc-AI and (enemy)player kills tally.

The in game Admin tools are really well done and will be very useful for when server admins put on their admin 'hats' and hunt hackers etc...

On a side note I have trialled Zeus (Game Master) run missions on Steely's training server and it works well, so may run another training/Zeus event on there soon?

For the =mfp= clan troops unaware as a default join the BLUFOR (Blue Team) as a standard, makes it easier being consistently being locked into the same team grouping...

*Edited 28/10/14, currently testing us adapting the Independents (Green Team) as our default selection for =mfp= members on FURY ROAD

I'm now locked to Blufor.

I'm happy either way team wise. But wouldn't it be better to be independent. If we are BLUFOR. All other BLUFOR members inc. non mfp, can see our locations. Won't this give any bashes/stash locations away?

They cant see your stash or base locations, only where you are on the map, so yeah if they see you in a weird location frequently they might go check out the area, something to keep in mind.
Like the FOR/team option myself as it gives better opportunity to mingle and team up/ work with with non-mfp. Where as the independent's is often a free for all and pretty much we would only ever work with mfp. Happy to go with independant's if that's the majority preference though.

Not played a lot of independants, can't you see other independants name icons appear if they are close? means they can see you? etc...

Working tonight so yeah check it pls. If that is the case that independants can ONLY see each other when grouped Anubis then maybe Independents is the way to go, prol be more enemies that way too I guess Smile

Rev, Lone Wolf seems to be stuck only able to join Blue?

Is this a server setting or is he an admin so tied to Blue..... If none of the above, is there an option to delete his history from the server and allow him to join independent?

I might be able to fix that when on? as I've noticed an option on the admin player review screen that says allow 'team change', not tested it yet though, Wolf will also have the same powers I have (in game) once I train him up in the next day or so and as long as that admin feature is actually working?

I've also had issues of it locking me to BLUFOR but not tested the above team change feature on myself yet either.

Worst case scenario I can do a server records wipe to reset this, however this will effect all players... Although Wastelands being what it is, this will not be a major drama.

Also jumped on quickly and tested the admin allow team change tool on myself and was able to return to the lobby then join the Independents, so should be able to fix Wolf's or anybody else's problems changing teams.

Yeah I believe Independent group is the way to go tbh. Then we don't have to worry about non-mfp members. Also makes it easier to face opposing groups if they have a method of pre-grouping.

Finally sorted out an RCon tool with the server, so can now better track players GUID's that log onto the server and review chat history etc... another tool in the hacker and troll hunting kit.
This is also a tool I can leave running and it collects various data that I can review later.

The server has been busy lately, (at the time of this post) was in the top dozen Aussie Arma 3 servers on gametracker Smile ,might get into the top ten at this rate? and the server is only around three weeks old... guess it shows the demand for default Wasteland servers... A. The circles represent town limits. If friendly soldiers are in a town, you can spawn there from the re-spawn menu; however if there is an enemy presence, you will not be able to spawn there.

Wacked in the v10.b update after nightshift and tested, server loaded all good, stashes all good, player setups unchanged etc..., also noticed a vehicle-store bought truck I had was auto saved and in its spot after a couple restarts. Gave the first player on (afgm cambo) a new hot pink fuel truck to celebrate the update Smile

Off to sleep soon, gnite..
