I think we can start getting the other troops onto this forum over the next week or so. me and Spriggy will still finalise/play with its setup but I think we are pretty complete on the topic structure etc...

If any of you have time and the desire please copy some of the useful info across - especially Tech info like xfire / teamspeak / game tips etc.... to the relevant sections of this forum. If we all do a a little it will save one person doing the whole lot lol.... keep in mind the old forum will still stay there and be on record for reference, it will just become a dead forum soon when this one gets into flow. Note there is alot of crap on the old forum (in fact most of it is crap! ) of which most doesn't need to come across unless you are bored enough to move it? Only stuff we really need here is current and USEFUL info etc...

A big thankyou to Rev for this awesome new forum.. I'm a junior when it comes to forum construction and admin stuff, so lots more to learn from Rev. A thankyou also to Loony who was used as a beta tester for the forum and artwork submissions.

Hey Lads...

As you may have noticed, we now have a front page 'portal' for the website/forum. As the website/forum is still new, we are still settling to lock-in a suitable design theme. The Clan Corp Badge is close to being finalised, hence will be incorporated into the design structure soon. If you require to head to the forums, please click on 'Home' in the above navigation bar. Click on 'Portal' for the front page. The portal page is now the default first page.

The current navigation bar is only temporary until we organise some new buttons. It looks like the 'red' themed Corp badge will be the likely color. If so ... the website will reflect those colors. To be honest, the current colors are OK.. but not ideal. Rev was playing with Army colors as a base and I jumped on board. Rev and myslef (and Loony.. and I imagine other members) can see that a Black/Grey/Red theme for the website will KICK ASS!!

You will see this theme within the next few days as a test. The main header pic will be re-designed to suit, including the new Corp badge. If the 'Blue Design' wins... no probs. Very easy to change from red to blue.

New websites mean 'plenty of playing'. I invisage a final theme for the MFP Clan VERY soon!!

I thought it looked great before THIS change. To see if a new post is up or not on this new format is a bit hard? Black writing is bareley readable???? Oh well we will wait and see.....Changes changes changes, sounds like you guys work for the PTA. Keep fixing things that aren't broken

Early days yet mate.. just trying it. Heading obviously not done yet.. background etc . As for the black writing. Rev posted it as black on the old forum.. it's not a standard color. Fixed now!

In the end .. if the guys don't like it .. I have the old one saved and can be restored anytime.

You can blame me for this... I started the change thing!!

Well troops ... The general guts of our FINALISED website theme is finished. Just some fine tuning to do. Can't tell me this doesn't look mean Baldivis!!!!

Clan members. Be sure that you reset your 'Favorites Link' so that it is not pointing to the forum page... but the 'Main Page'.

Also... chuck foward any ideas you may have. The main website page is a great place to list all sorts of shit. Rev is currently investigating a small 'Teamspeak widget' (in the same vain as the 'Shoutbox') that sits on the main page. It will be live and show who is on. You can also login to TS directly from the website.

Yeh Yeh.. Jokes aside... if miraculously the rest of the members vote and it goes blue ... Give me a few hours and everything red will be blue

As for the cool post icons... they were unfortunately lost when we changed themes... HOWEVER .. Rev has the originals and will be setting them up again in his own time.

Forum usage has been somewhat disappointing with only 9 members with double figuire posts

Don't expect everyone to have posts/forum usage up in the hundreds but this is our central communication hub and many don't seem to use it. have just put all those with less than 10 posts into the Rookies Group (Might raise this threshold as time goes on????) - which is for new members or those that don't meet all the current clan standards in using Teamspea/Xfire and The forum on atleast a casual basis... This will help easily identify 'CORE' clan members and those that are on the outer fringes or only casual or newish members...

Also about to review/update the members/specialist squads list.........
